SK Shlomo’s BST Rave is an interactive, livestreamed mini-festival to celebrate British Summer Time, bring together isolated households and raise money for suicide prevention charity the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).

Created by award-winning beatboxer and festival mainstage staple, SK Shlomo, the 4.5 hour mini-festival runs from 8.30pm, ending with a big celebration as the clocks change and 1AM GMT becomes 2AM BST. Electrifying virtual DJ sets will be beamed live into homes worldwide from global stars including Rob Da Bank, Jax Jones, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, DJ Rap, B Traits and many more.

Tickets are free, with the option to appear on screen alongside the star DJs: only the first 1000 lucky ravers to register can take centre stage in the Zoom Room, with the chance to show off their dance moves and win prizes for everything from best decorations to raviest outfits.

This show follows SK Shlomo’s previous charity event, Rave To The Moon, which took place on New Years Eve and attracted over 24,000 home ravers all dressed up to go ‘out-out’, raising over £11,000 for 206 charities in one night.

Performing as part of the event in addition to curating the incredible line-up, SK Shlomo added: “This is a painful time for so many, myself included and I’ve been open about my ongoing struggle with suicidal depression. Organising this BST Rave has been such a fun distraction – creating a global party that brings people together whilst helping save lives – it’s an absolute blast”

Simon Gunning, CEO, CALM said: “The pandemic has been tough on everyone, and people are needing CALM and our services more than ever. But there’s light at the end of the tunnel. That’s why we’re proud to be supporting SK Shlomo’s BST Rave, and give people a fun evening to help them take a break from all that’s happening. So grab your glowsticks and your free ticket and let’s rave-from-home!”

Celebrating an industry that has suffered catastrophic damage due to lockdown restrictions, SK Shlomo’s BST Rave will bring together displaced DJs, artists and fans in an event accessible to anyone with internet access across the world, creating an inclusive space for party-lovers and supporting an incredible cause.
