Update on Annual Summit of the Mayors Woman’s Night Carter

By September 5, 2019BLOG

The NTIA Attended the 3rd Annual Summit of the Mayor’s Women’s Night Safety Charter on Friday, 19th July. Finding the presentations and discussions very useful and left the event feeling inspired and motivated by the ideas and initiatives discussed and ready to implement the Mayor’s Women’s Night Safety Charter, in particular to encourage our members to take an active part in this initiative.

To assist you in implementing the pledges here are some useful resources:

The Women’s Night Safety Charter Toolkit https://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/wnsc_toolkit_final.pdf offers simple ideas, inspiration, information and resources to help organisations meet the seven pledges. It advises on possible courses of action, some changes that may need to be made and how organisations can upskill their staff.

The slides from the presentations and workshop headlines are attached.

The GLA will be in touch later in the year to follow up with a survey to find out how you’re getting on implementing the pledges. In the meantime,  please encourage others to sign up to the Charter by directing them to the following link:
